City of Rockwall’s public art guitar displays installed around the city

They’re here! The City of Rockwall’s Guitar Project is a public art display to commemorate the city’s place as The Free Live Music Capital of North Texas. Five guitars, commissioned by local artists, are being installed in their new homes around Rockwall. The works of art were revealed this summer at the final Concert by the Lake. Then bases and stands had to be constructed to secure the artwork for public display. Look for the five-foot tall guitars at the San Jacinto Plaza, Cain’s Corner Park, Harry Myers Park, The Harbor and City Hall.
