The City has launched Parks And Trails Of Heath (PATH), a new fund raising initiative of the Park Board that gives citizens and local businesses the opportunity to help accelerate the expansion and improvement of our parks and trail system.

Your Dream, Our Goals
In 2018, the City adopted a Parks, Trails and Recreation Plan that was developed with citizen input. Top priorities stated by citizens were:
- Trails and trail connectivity citywide
- Improve playground equipment and amenities at existing parks
- Increase shade along trails and in parks

Our First Project!
TOWNE CENTER PARK IMPROVEMENTS
PHASE 1
- Adding Shade Trees & Shade Structures
- Add multiple shade structures with a tree on either side
FUTURE PHASES OF TOWN CENTER PARK IMPROVEMENTS
PHASE 2 IDEAS
- Add all inclusive playground equipment with shade
- Add an adult work-out circuit
- Add water fountains for people and pets
PHASE 3 IDEAS
- Add a splash pad or other seasonal activities
PHASE 4 IDEAS
- Add a gathering/entertainment space such as an amphitheater
