Theyla “Dean” Braziel of Rowlett, TX, passed away September 5, 2019, at the age of 91. She was born March 23, 1928, in Emory, TX, to Fletcher and Bill Jane (Bruce) Hassell. Theyla worked for many years in a fabric store and was an accomplished seamstress. She loved her family and enjoyed cooking for them and maybe watching basketball, which was a favorite pastime. She enjoyed a full life and will be dearly missed.
Theyla is survived by her daughter: Kim Braziel of Rowlett, TX; grandchildren: John S. Bradley of McKinney, TX, and Terri Bradley Poole of Garland, TX; 8 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband John Truett Braziel in 1981, and daughter Deborah Kay Braziel Bradley.
A Celebration of Life service will be held 10:00 am Thursday, September 26, 2019, at Rest Haven Funeral Home – Rowlett Location.
