The Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) has notified the City of Rockwall that they will be closing a portion of FM 740 next week to repair a section of concrete on the road. Contractors will close FM 740 just past the southbound right turn lane from SH 205. The road will be closed on Monday and Tuesday nights next week, July 29-30 from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. Cars will still be allowed to turn, but trucks will not be able to until the work is complete.
