A Rockwall ISD bus driver was arrested and charged with assault against an elderly or disabled individual by Fate police on Sunday, November 22. An Emergency Protection Order was also put in place for 90 days.
Lay physically assaulted her ex-boyfriend’s mother, who also lives in her house. She was taken into custody at 11:30am by Fate Police and booked into Rockwall County Jail.
The victim received medical attention for her injuries.
The bond was set for $1,000.
As of publication, Lay is no longer listed as an inmate in the Rockwall County Jail.
