Bobbie Nell Williams, age 92, of Rockwall, TX passed away on June 22, 2020. She was born July 22, 1927, in Mt. Vernon, TX, to Merle L. Hill and Edna Lora (Hays) Hill. Bobbie was a member of Westbury Church of Christ in Houston for 48 years before she attended Eastridge Church of Christ in Rockwall. She was a godly woman, known for her beautiful smile. Bobbie was very friendly and she had beautiful blue eyes. She loved to share her faith with others and show hospitality. Bobbie loved her family completely. Her presence will be deeply missed.
Bobbie is survived by her daughters: Annette McKinney and husband Terry, and Nita Blair and husband James, grandchildren: Lana Moore, Wain Zain, Wendy McKinney, Wednesday McKinney, Lee Williams (Kris), Scott Williams (Judy), Donna Humphries, Michael Williams, Parker Blair, and Lacey Newton (Tyler); great-grandchildren: Sammy, Finn, Gemma, Vain, Whisper, Trey, Dustin, Morgan, Jacob, Victoria, Jace, Annabelle, Jayce, Brandon, and Annaleigh; great-great-grandchildren: Eve, Josiah, and Olivia; daughter in law: Vicki Williams; sister: Martha Moore; sisters-in-law: Illa Faye Payne, and Shirley Singer and (Claude); and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband of 68 years: Merritt Williams, Jr.; son: Alton Glenn Williams; brother: Bill Hill; great-grandchild: Maxwell Moore; and her parents.
A celebration of Bobbie’s life will be held at 10:30 am on Saturday, June 27, 2020, at Eastridge Church of Christ, 670 N Stodghill Rd, Rockwall, TX 75087.
