Joshua “Tank” Darren Daniels, age 38, of Rowlett, TX, passed away on June 12, 2020. He was born November 18, 1981, in Mesquite, TX, to Ronald “Red” Gene Daniels and Irena Paralee (Delozier) Daniels. Joshua was a loving husband and father. His devotion was evident in times spent with his children. Brantley’s favorite memories with his dad include being coached on the baseball field and play fighting in the living room floor. BurkLee fondly recalls cuddling on the couch with her daddy as they watched some of their favorite movies together. She also will never forget those special times when her father would take her on a date to “Daddy and Daughter Dances”. Clearly, his family was everything to him.
Joshua loved being outdoors. Even from the time he was a little boy, the family would go outside and play a game they have come to call simply “Family Ball”, a tradition that has continued even through to today. One of his favorite outdoor activities is hunting, especially with his favorite hunting buddy, his father, Red. He was a very selfless, respectful person. Joshua was a great man and his presence will be deeply missed by everyone who loved him.
Joshua is survived by his loving wife of 19 years: Sara LeAnn Daniels; daughter: BurkLee Lyn Daniels; son: Brantley Ged Daniels; parents: Ronald and Irena Daniels; brother: Shane Daniels and wife Katie; nephews: Andrew Daniels, Braydon and Jamaal Washington, Coby Smith, Asher, and Aidan Braud; Gage and Grayson Mann, Karsen, Harper, Jaxson, Fisher, and Pheonix Waddle, and nieces: Jaelyn Howell, Emma and Kynslie Daniels, Cyndee Smith, Dezerae Washington, and Dakota and Lilli Waddle; in-laws: Randy and Celia Waddle, and Richard and Pam Martinez; host of aunts, uncles and cousins; and numerous extended family and friends.
