Kaleb Rayshawn Simpson was the oldest of two children, born on February 18, 2000 to Raychelle Simpson of Mesquite, Texas. On March 22, 2020, God called Kaleb home at the young age of 20.
Kaleb was a graduate of Rowlett High School in Rowlett, Texas where he was an exceptional art student who participated and won several art competitions among his peers. His love for art continued after graduation, when he discovered his passion for producing and writing music. However, his love for his younger sister, Raegan, was unparalleled. Kaleb enjoyed spending time with his sister; oftentimes, sharing his love of art with her through their countless times spent together. Kaleb was a loving son, nephew, cousin, and much more. He enjoyed spending time with his family. His sweet, loving spirit was unmatched and will be missed.
Kaleb is survived by his parents, Raychelle Simpson and husband Lamar Hazelwood; grandparents, Odie and Catherine Jackson; sister, Raegan Simpson; step-siblings, Deandre and Kiana Hazelwood; uncle, Bryan Simpson and wife Tara; cousins, Keyontai, Kamryn, Aaliyah, and Kadyn Simpson; godparents, Angela Mosley, Yvonne Honore, David Rideaux, and Justin Cormier; numerous other relatives and friends.
