Marilyn Blakely Obituary

Marilyn Blakely, age 88, passed away peacefully on December 10, 2019, at her home in Rowlett, TX. She was born February 22, 1931, in Akron, OH, to Bernard and Mildred Franklin. Marilyn was married June 12, 1950, in Akron to Robert Blakely and they shared 64 wonderful years until his death in 2014. She attended Church in the City and is remembered as a God-fearing Christian woman who loved her family. She loved to laugh and enjoyed her life.

Marilyn is survived by daughter: Kimberly Elkins of Rowlett, TX; son: Robert Blakely Jr. of Cuyahoga Falls, OH; grandchildren: Kelly Eshghy and Ryan Blakely; six great grandchildren; brother: Dallas Franklin of Ohio. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by granddaughter Kristine Luna in 2011.
