Rockwall, TX – February 13, 2025 – The Rockwall Times is honored to support the Children’s Advocacy Center for Rockwall County (CACRC) by sponsoring a breakfast for their dedicated team and partner agencies. This gathering provided an opportunity for CACRC’s Multidisciplinary Team (MDT) to discuss cases and ensure a coordinated approach to protecting and advocating for children in crisis.
The CACRC serves children who have experienced sexual abuse, physical abuse, neglect, or have witnessed violent crime. Their work is critical in providing a safe, secure, and child-friendly environment where the healing process can begin. The center operates as a non-profit, non-governmental organization, working closely with law enforcement, Child Protective Services (CPS), medical professionals, and mental health providers to minimize trauma for young victims and ensure justice is served.
Through its MDT approach, the CACRC helps streamline investigations, reducing the number of interviews a child must endure and ensuring that all agencies involved are working together effectively. Their mission is to protect, support, and empower children and families facing unimaginable circumstances.
