Rockwall, TX – September 3, 2024 – Rockwall Capital Group is proud to announce that its CEO, David Vega, has been appointed to the Board of Directors of the North East Texas Community Development Corporation (NETCDC). This appointment reflects David’s ongoing dedication to community development and his commitment to addressing the pressing need for affordable housing in the North East Texas region.
The North East Texas Community Development Corporation, a 501(c)(3) organization, has been a pivotal force in providing affordable housing solutions since 1995. NETCDC owns and operates The Meadows, a 36-unit housing complex for low-income families, along with other properties within Rockwall city limits. The organization’s mission is to ensure that working-class families in Rockwall, Lamar, Collin, Hunt, Kaufman, Dallas, Delta, Red River, and Fannin counties have access to decent, safe, and sanitary housing.

The organization’s work is essential in bridging the gap between the demand for affordable housing and the limited availability of such units in the region.
