Ruby Jean Osburn, age 91, of Rockwall, TX, passed away June 10, 2022. She was born December 29, 1930, in Prescott, AR, to Edna Mary (Andrews) and Thomas Ellis Osburn. Ruby was a member of the Messiah Lutheran Church; as well as a member of the VFW Post 3359. She will be missed dearly by those who knew a loved her.
Ruby is survived by her nieces: Brenda Denney and husband Roy, and Cheryl Hamil; nephews: Mark Osburn and wife Kim, Greg Hamil and wife Katie; great-niece: Stacey Armstrong and husband Brad; great-nephew: Chance Osburn; and numerous other family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; siblings: Helen Hamil, Mac Osburn, and Ralph Osburn; nephews: David Osburn and Eddie Williford; and niece: Anita Bloodworth.
A celebration of Ruby’s life will be held at 1:00pm Thursday, June 16, 2022, at Reflections at Rest Haven Funeral Home-Rockwall, TX. A gathering of family and friends will take place from 12:00pm to 1:00pm prior to the service at The Gathering at Rest Haven Funeral Home-Rockwall location.
