Thuy Nguyen, age 55, of Garland, TX, passed away on June 23, 2022. She was born on July 13, 1966 in Nha Trang, Vietnam to Nhuan and Le Nguyen. Thuy was kind, caring, and selfless. She was a friend to all who met her. Thuy will be missed deeply by those who knew and loved her.
Thuy is survived by her husband: Tung; children: Teresa and Thomas; father: Le Nguyen; sisters: Mai and Phuong Nguyen; brothers: Long and Loc Nguyen; and other close relatives. She was preceded in death by her mother Nhuan Nguyen.
Visitation at the Rest Haven Funeral Home will be on Wednesday, June 29 and Thursday, June 30 from 4-9pm. At 5pm on Wednesday, there will be a mass to distribute Vietnamese white mourning headbands to close relatives. The funeral service will take place at Our Mother of Perpetual Help Catholic Parish on July 1 from 9-10AM with the burial following at Sacred Heart Cemetery.
