Ardis Elizabeth “Beth” Thompson, age 65, of Rockwall, TX, passed away May 29, 2022. She was born May 3, 1957, in Ontario, Canada, to William and Ardis Ehman. Beth worked in the film industry as a buyer. She loved her career and all the clients and friends that she met in the business. Beth met her husband Bruce through friends in the film industry, they were married in 1985. Beth was a devoted Christian and read her devotional every morning. She always put God first then family. Her favorite place to vacation was in the mountains at the Bar NI Ranch in Colorado. She enjoyed spending that time with her family going hiking, fishing, horseback riding, and Jeeping. Beth loved reading and animals, especially her beloved dogs, Sugar and Annie. She had many friends and could always be counted on to be there for others. She will be deeply missed by all the lives she touched.
Beth is survived by her loving husband: Bruce Thompson; sons: Bryan Thompson and Jacob Thompson; mother: Ardis Ehman; sister: Lynne Van Horn; and brother: William F. Ehman and wife Kathy. She was preceded in death by her father: William H. Ehman.

A celebration of Beth’s life will be held at 11:00am Wednesday, June 8, 2022, at First United Methodist Church in Rockwall, TX, with Dr. Joe Pool officiating. A reception will follow in the Fellowship Hall after the service.
