Tena Constance Angelo of Terrell, Texas, formerly of Dallas, passed away on May 22, 2022, at Windson Rehabilitation and Healthcare in Terrell at the age of 93. She, along with her twin brother Sammy, was born on June 18, 1928, to Joe and Santa Crespeno, immigrants from Sicily.
Tena is preceded in death by husband of 53 years, Carlo Angelo; son, Anthony J. Angelo; brothers and sisters-in-law, Joe Crespeno and Betty Crespeno, Johnny and Dorothy Crespeno, and brother Sammy Crespeno. She is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Athan and Mike Thompson, Santa and Paul Faulkenbury; granddaughter, Jancie McVea and husband Mike; grandson, Kelly Faulkenbury; great-granddaughters, Brittany McCauley and husband Mike, Samantha McVea; twin great-grandsons, Paul and David Faulkenbury; and several nieces and nephews.
Tena was a beautician in the 1950’s and from 1960 to 1982 worked with her husband in their East Dallas neighborhood grocery store. Afterwards she worked as a certified nurse’s assistant with Smith Nursing Agency.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Friday, May 27, 2022, at Rest Haven Funeral Home Rowlett. Interment will follow in Calvary Hill Cemetery. Visitation and viewing will be at the funeral home Thursday from 6:00 to 8:00 pm.
