Lauren Christine Hendon, 34 years young, closed her eyes, the last time on this earth on February 14, 2022, and opened her eyes eternally in heaven seeing her Savior, Jesus Christ. She came into this world too early at 7 months and she left this world too early for us, but it was God’s timing to call her home.
Lauren loved being independent having her own car and a place of her own. She loved her little girl Kaylee and Kaylee’s dear friend Riley. She was a very courageous girl and was a fighter protecting Kaylee. Lauren provided for her the best she could. She lived life to its fullest, having a special place in her heart for children with disabilities and for animals.
Lauren is survived by her daughter: Kaylee; mother: Nancy Nickell and her husband James; father: Brian Hendon and his wife Fay; stepbrother: Bryan Marino; grandparents: Granddaddy Cecil and Grandmommy Billye Miles of Plano; Aunt Carolyn and Uncle Dick Wallach of Dallas, Aunt Vicki Barnes of Plano, Uncle John and Aunt Frana Schrock of San Antonio, Uncle Brad Hendon of Wylie, Aunt Julie Hendon of Fate, Aunt Diane Parker of Fate; and numerous cousins. Lauren is preceded in death by her Pawpaw Art and Nonnie Jeanne Hendon, Pawpaw James (Jim) and Nani Kathy Nickell.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date at Rest Haven Funeral Home-Rockwall location.
