Arthur Glenn DeRouin, Jr., age 60, of Josephine, Texas, passed away and entered heaven to Jesus on April 21, 2022. Arthur was born on April 9, 1962, in Dallas County to Arthur Glenn DeRouin, Sr., and Johnnie Marie DeRouin of Josephine, Texas. Arthur resided at Denton State Supported Living Center in Denton, Texas, although his home was Josephine, Texas, with his mom and dad. Arthur Jr. has a sister Janet and a younger brother Joseph. When Arthur was born, his parents were informed that Arthur had an intellectual disability and that life would be challenging. Arthur was an extremely happy child and very physically fit and had so much energy. Arthur never ever let this disability stop him from living the best life. His charm, his laughter, his love, and his smile were light to everyone. Arthur knew no stranger and wanted to shake everyone’s hand he met and ask them for his favorite drink ‘a Dr. Pepper’. Arthur loved worshipping Jesus. He loved his sodas, music, dancing, riding bikes, swimming, the circus, walking, talking with everyone, and sitting outside. He enjoyed working in the workshop and making crafts. He loved and adored his family and was the rock of his family. Arthur is in heaven now with Jesus and mom and dad.
