On August 9, just after 11:00 pm, Garland Police responded to the report of multiple people shot at an apartment complex in the 1300 block of West Kingsley Road. When officers arrived, they located three males outside of the apartments suffering from multiple gunshots wounds. All three subjects were pronounced deceased at the scene.

Homicide investigators learned the three victims were sitting outside of the apartments near Kingsley Road when two gunmen appeared with firearms. The suspects opened fire on the victims killing all three individuals.

Detectives discovered video surveillance from the surrounding neighborhood that helped identify two of the subjects believed to be responsible for the murders. One individual has been identified as 25-year-old Maria Fernanda Molina, who was arrested and charged with Capital Murder.

There are believed to be two other suspects involved in the shooting deaths of the three victims, one of which has been identified as 19-year-old Jesus Angel Gomez Jr. An arrest warrant for capital murder has been issued for his arrest.

Detectives are still attempting to identify a third suspect believed to be responsible for the shooting. He is described as a Hispanic male in his late teens to early twenties.

The shooting is believed to be due to an escalation from a personal dispute between two of the victims and the suspects. One of the victims had no previous involvement with the suspects.

Molina is currently in the Garland Jail with a bond of $1,000,000.

This remains an active investigation and detectives are continuing to seek the public’s assistance.
