Hamm ES, Shannon ES and Reinhardt ES recently earned an award based on student participation in the 21 Day Challenge.
Each year our elementary schools participate in the Kids Teaching Kids 21 Day Challenge sponsored by Medical City Children’s Hospital, the United Way and other business organizations.
The Kids Teaching Kids program offers children and their parents the knowledge and resources to change their eating habits for the better. During the event, students are challenged to make kid friendly healthy snacks created by students from district culinary groups.
