Rockwall, TX – As part of the city’s annual Founder’s Day festivities, PopUp in the Plaza will bring creativity and community spirit to life on Saturday, May 17, from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. in San Jacinto Plaza in Downtown Rockwall.
Hosted by the Rockwall Art League in collaboration with the Rockwall County Master Gardeners, this interactive event is free and open to the public—and is designed for all ages to enjoy.

Plein in the Plaza: Watch artists create in real-time in the heart of Downtown.

The Art of Gardening: A hands-on, interactive display of creative horticultural techniques including:
- How to dry and preserve fresh flowers
- Flower pressing tutorials
- Natural dyeing methods and how to plant your own dye garden
This special PopUp event invites the community to celebrate local creativity, learn new techniques, and enjoy the beauty of spring in one of Rockwall’s most beloved public spaces.
