County Commissioners Tour New Helping Hands Facility

Rockwall, TX-Apr. 14, 2025 – The Rockwall County Commissioners Court was invited to tour the new Rockwall County Helping Hands facility. This tour provided an opportunity to see firsthand how the new space enhances their ability to support low-income families, provide critical assistance, and expand their services to meet the growing needs of Rockwall County. “With the significant increase in demand for food pantry services and community resources, this new facility is a vital step forward in ensuring that no one in our county goes without essential support,” according to Senior Director of Philanthropy Melody Hail.

Helping Hands’ new building now houses:

Support the Businesses That Support Our Community

•          Assistance & Referral Services – Helping more families navigate crises.

•          Client Choice Food Pantry – Providing a dignified grocery shopping experience for those in need.

•          Expanded Health Center – Increasing access to medical care for uninsured and underinsured residents.

•          Administrative Offices – Enhancing efficiency in serving our growing community.

All Helping Hands services are now together on one centralized campus at 950 & 990 Williams Street in the city of Rockwall.
