Rockwall, TX-Dec. 17, 2024 – The Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR) is the primary program of the U.S. Defense Department dedicated to promoting cooperation and understanding between civilian employers and their National Guard and Reserve employees.
Employees serving in the National Guard or Reserve, along with their spouses, can nominate their supervisors for the support provided to them and their families. The Patriot Award honors supervisors for their outstanding support of Guard and Reserve employees. Captain Alex Gray from the Rockwall County Sheriff’s Department received a certificate of recognition and a lapel pin for his contributions.
