The story involves those imprisoned on the Isle of the Lost – home of the most infamous villains who ever lived – the teenaged children of Maleficent, the Evil Queen, Jafar, and Cruella De Vil and have never ventured off the island… until now. When the four troublemakers are sent to attend prep school alongside the children of beloved Disney heroes, they have a difficult choice to make: should they follow in their parents’ wicked footsteps or learn to be good? What do you think? Come and find out!
Our next regular season show is the musical, Gentlemen’s Guide to Love and Murder, directed by Clair Williamson. The musical revolves around Montague, or Monty, an amiable young Brit who discovers a dark family secret following his dear mother’s death. The woman never revealed that because she married Monty’s musician father, she was disinherited from the family D’Ysquith, a name that in the play’s Edwardian setting is synonymous with wealth, property and influence. Monty writes a letter to one of the relatives and attempts to get a job. When he’s told to get lost, he decides to collect his inheritance by offing the eight cousins that stand in his way of becoming Earl of Highhurst. It opens on Sept. 20 and will run Fridays through Sundays until Oct. 6. (Auditions can be booked on the website rockwallcommunityplayhouse.org for July 27 or 28.)
You can’t beat a night out at the theater, especially when you don’t even have to cross the lake! Come and enjoy!!
