Poetry Community Christian School is hosting its Annual Golf Tournament, Swing FORE the Green, on Friday, June 14 at Buffalo Creek Golf Club.
Registration begins at 7 a.m. with a Shotgun Start at 8 a.m. Proceeds support the school’s Pioneer Activities Center which includes a middle and high school gymnasium, fully-equipped sports weight room, and a 45’ Christian Soldiers Karate studio to serve the school’s 60 karate students 2nd – 12th grades. The Center also houses team rooms, classrooms, and the expanded music department, while providing scheduling opportunities for elementary sports and extra-curriculars in the school’s current multi-purpose building.
Team and individuals can sign up to play (the school will form teams as needed) or your business can sponsor and gain advertising at this event. Founded in 2002, PCCS is fully accredited by the international accrediting organization, COGNIA (parent organization to South Association for College and Schools/SACS Division) and continues to be awarded high accreditation scores. During the most recent accreditation inspection, COGNIA awarded PCCS a score of 369 (well above the average score range of all COGNIA network schools, 278.34-283.33). This high score is not unusual with PCCS scoring in the exemplary range for the last two decades.
