Rockwall, TX-April 23, 2024 – Members of the Library Advisory Board are appointed in April each year by the members of the Commissioners Court for two-year terms.
Having served two consecutive two-year terms, board members Sarah Lawson (precinct 1), Margaret Davidson (precinct 2) and Lynn Fate (precinct 3) are required to rotate off the board this year.
Doris Mailloux has been appointed to the open precinct 1 seat. Sonja Martin has been appointed to the open precinct 2 seat. Paula Salter has been appointed to the open precinct 3 seat.
Beth McCrackin (member-at-large) has also chosen to step down. Kathleen Broze has been appointed to the open member-at-large seat.
Board member Heather Buegler (precinct 4) has been re-appointed for another 2-year term.
Board members Doreen Miller (precinct 1), Mary Webster (precinct 2), Rich Krause (precinct 3) and Nichole Hahn (precinct 4) will continue to serve through April 2025.
There will be a meeting of the departing, new and continuing board members in May.
