We are heartbroken that our sweet Conner Elijah Smith unexpectedly passed before his time on September 28, 2022. He was born January 11, 1997, in American Fork, UT, to Bart Howard and Lisa Dianne (Nibarger) Smith. Conner was a 2015 graduate of Sachse High School and had completed his training and guidance programs from Autism Treatment Center of America. Conner was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Rowlett, where he often sang spontaneous solos. He loved trips to Target and Chick-fil-A, Reese’s peanut butter cups, rides in the car, going to Zumba with mom and church on Sunday. He loved his family and always wanted everyone to be together. We will miss his sweet spirit, spontaneous singing during church, and his big “smile teeth.” His memory will live on in the hearts of the many people who loved him and were touched by his beautiful soul.
Conner is survived by his parents: Bart and Lisa Smith; and his sisters: Bri Lorraine Smith and Marissa Dianne Gonzalez.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 am Monday, October 3, 2022, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints of Rowlett. Interment will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery. The family will gather with friends prior to the service beginning at 10:00 am.
