Warren Dean Oshel, age 77, of Rowlett, TX, passed away August 6, 2022. He was born October 14, 1944, in Dodge City, KS, to Loretta Gail (English) and Warren Herbert Oshel. Dean served in the United States Air Force. He was a coach, teacher, mentor, and best friend. He lived his life with intention and purpose and will be missed dearly by those who knew and loved him.
Warren is survived by his wife: Carol (Harris) Oshel; daughters: Victoria Friend, Samantha Oshel, Katherine Oshel, and Rebecca Oshel; grandchildren: Christopher Oshel, Shaylene Turner, William Campbell, Matthew Case, Andrew Oshel, Tanner Taylor, Nicholas Taylor, Charlie Schoenberger, Sam Schoenberger, Clinton Friend, Travis Xavier, and Tayden Xavier; great-grandchildren: Thea Oshel, Kayden Case, and Liam Taylor; sister: Lore Finley; brothers: Ken Oshel and David Oshel; and a host of extended family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents: Loretta Gail and Warren Oshel.
Dean will be buried with Military Honors in a private family service.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to the Masonic Lodge #105 in Alva Ok, East Trinity Masonic Lodge #157, Rockwall TX, or St. John John’s Episcopal Church in Dallas TX.
