James Ainsworth, age 77, a 40-year resident of Royse City, TX, passed away August 19, 2022. He was born June 27, 1945, in Leon County, TX, to Frances Pearl (Tatum) and Presley Felix Ainsworth. James was a family man who took care of everybody. He was a teacher and fixer of things. James was a man of God and a member of the Abundant Life Church in Garland, TX. He will be missed dearly.
James is survived by his loving wife of 45 years: Linda Ainsworth; children: Robby Ainsworth and wife Cyndie, Tammie Blair, Mike Ainsworth and wife Christian, and Kim Finley; grandchildren: Corey, Chezna, Jerrod, Zach, Madison, Mandalyn, and Lauren; six great-grandchildren; and brothers: Jimmy Ainsworth, Keith Ainsworth, and Randy Ainsworth. He was preceded in death by his parents; and eight siblings.
Funeral services will be held 2:00pm, Saturday, August 27, 2022, at Reflections at Rest Haven Funeral Home-Rockwall location. Interment will follow in Royse City Cemetery in Royse City, TX. A gathering of family and friends will take place one hour prior to service from 1:00pm to 2:00pm, at The Gathering at Rest Haven Funeral Home-Rockwall Location.
