Gary Paul Alexander, age 63 of Rowlett, TX, passed away June 14, 2022. He was born April 27, 1959, in Odessa, TX, to William “Jack” and Rita (Roberson) Alexander. Gary was a very dedicated family man, devoted to his children. Married for 42 years, he was both companion and best friend to his loving wife. Gary was a “get it done” type person and a wealth of information. He was very outgoing and never met a stranger. He was recently elected vice chairman of the Rowlett Arts & Humanities Commission and was instrumental in the development of “Rowlett Sings.” He was everyone’s go to guy and spent his life serving the public.
Gary is survived by his loving wife: Judy Alexander; children: Patrick Bryan Alexander and wife Carly, Jessica Leigh Alexander, Caine Lucas Alexander, and Mark Tucker Alexander; grandchildren: Katherine Austen Faye Alexander and Rose Marie Pearl Alexander; father: William Jackson Alexander; sisters: Lillian Ann Alexander, Barbara Latrice Alexander, and Tina Pieratt Roper and husband Dan; numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.
A celebration of life will be held 4:00 pm Friday, June 17, 2022, at Rest Haven Funeral Home Rowlett. The family will gather with friends prior to the service beginning at 3:00 pm.
