Robert Joseph Simmons, age 36, of Fate, TX, unexpectedly passed away May 23, 2022. He was born August 24, 1985, to John Calvin Simmons, Jr. and Patricia Agnes (Langenkamp) Simmons. Robert enjoyed flying remote control planes, cars, and boats. He was very competitive in everything he did. He was always helping people and willing to do it all. Robert learned and loved to BBQ and even competed in competitions. He was a loving father, husband, and son and will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
Robert is survived by his loving wife of 15 years: Tabetha Simmons; daughters: Kirsten and Kylie; son: Kaleb; parents: John and Patricia Simmons; brother: Christopher Simmons and Melena Hurst; sister: Julie Clemmer and husband John; father-in-law: Lofton Gould and Pam Snyder; brothers & sister-in-law along with aunt: Edith Simmons; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and extended family. He was
preceded in death by his mother-in-law: Deborah Gould.
A celebration of Robert’s life will be held 1:00pm Wednesday, June 1, 2022, at Reflections at Rest Haven Funeral Home-Rockwall location. A gathering of family and friends will be held prior to service from 12:30pm to 1:00pm at The Gathering at Rest Haven Funeral Home-Rockwall location.
