Robert Peter Favorito (Bobby), age 81, a resident of Rockwall, TX, since 2005, passed away May 20, 2022. He was born May 11, 1941, in Brooklyn, NY, to Peter Joseph Favorito and Mary (Donato) Favorito. Robert graduated from Loyola University in Los Angeles, CA, and then served in the United States Army. He loved classic and muscle cars; and owned an automotive customization shop. Robert was once a Vice President at GE Credit Corp. He enjoyed going on road trips with his wife Sandy. Robert was an amazing cook, his specialty was Italian food. He had a heart of gold and would purchase food to distribute to the elderly. Everyone who knew Robert loved him and his outgoing personality. He loved his family dearly and will be missed by those who knew and loved him.
Robert is survived by his loving wife: Sandy Favorito; daughters: Elaine Dubec and husband Michael, Susanne Cunha and Diana Sullivan, sons: Richard Favorito, John Favorito and wife Olivia, and Jimmy Sullivan and wife Stephanie; grandchildren: Lauren Chastain and husband Garrett, Dustin Dubec, Austin Dubec, Matthew Dubec, Corey Sachak, Amanda Sachak, Luciano Cunha, Lorissa Cunha, Giovanni Favorito, TJ Giles, Cassie Giles-Ramirez, Payton Gruver, MCClaine Culberson, Morgan Sullivan, Mason Sullivan, and Madison Sullivan; and two great-grandsons Logan and Larkin Giles. Robert is preceded in death by his parents and his brother Richard.
A gathering of family and friends will begin at 9:00 am Wednesday, June 1, 2022, at Reflections at Rest Haven Funeral Home-Rockwall, with the funeral starting at 10:00 am. In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. www.stjude.org
