Adam Theodore Schroeder passed away on May 1, 2022, at the age of 45 years old in Frisco, TX. Adam is survived by his children, Seth Michael Schroeder and Persephone Cali Schroeder, his parents, Ted and Trish, his siblings, Karen, Ken, and Carly, as well as by one grandmother, nieces and nephews, lots of aunts, uncles and cousins and the many close friends who were like family to him. Adam was the kind of person that you would always know when they walked into a room, his love for life was unabashedly on display for everyone. He was caring, kind and overly generous with his love.
Adam served as a dedicated soldier in the U.S. Army from 2006 – 2012. He completed two tours of duty during his years of service, one in Afghanistan and the other in Iraq. Adam took great pride in his own service and had an eternal fidelity to his fellow Veterans for their service and sacrifices. He spent as much of his time as he could volunteering to help his Veteran community.
Adam loved his family and missed them dearly whenever they were apart. His fun loving nature showed through in the way that he would not answer to the name “Dad,” that name would only receive his delighted response to his kids of, “There is no Dad, only Zuul.” When speaking about his love of family, Adam had said, “I love my family. No matter the bickering, arguing, trial or tribulations, time spent apart, harsh words said and regretted… The Schroeder Family is an ideal representation of what ‘family’ should truly be. I love you guys.” Adam will always be missed and will always be loved.
There will be a Celebration of Life on Friday, May 20, 2022 at 3pm with the family greeting friend from 2-3pm. The celebration will be at Rest Haven in Rowlett at 3701 Rowlett Road, Rowlett, TX 75088
“Though we need to weep your loss,
You dwell in that safe place in our hearts,
Where no storm or night or pain can reach you.”
