Ricardo Gonzalez Martinez, age 92, of Rockwall, TX, passed away April 14, 2022. He was born April 4, 1930, in Torreon, Mexico, to Francisco Gonzalez Alvarez and Elena Martinez de Gonzalez. He will be missed deeply by those who knew and loved him.
Ricardo is survived by his children: Jesus Ricardo Gonzalez, Marcella Wiley and husband Jeffrey, Gabriela Irene Gonzalez and husband Todd Moos, Roberto Gonzalez and wife Vicki, Guadalupe Hinojosa and husband Michael, and Genaro Gonzalez and wife Amelia; grandchildren: Heather Wiley, Jeffrey Wiley, Jr., Stephanie Hardin-Wiley, Katherine Wiley, Lillian Wiley, Ingrid Liliana Gonzalez, Jonathan Zuniga Gonzalez, Mia Hinojosa, Michael Hinojosa, Thais Hinojosa, Diego Hinojosa, Valeria Vanessa Gonzalez, Nicole Alejandra Gonzalez, Brandon Ohad Gonzalez; great-grandchildren: Ingrid Nichelle Flores, Carlos Ruiz, Julio Cesar Gonzalez, Mauro Hinojosa, Max Hinojosa; and a host of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife: Maria de Jesus Castaneda de Gonzalez; his parents; and siblings: Maria Elena Gonzalez, Francisco Gonzalez, Sergio Gonzalez, Jorge Gonzalez, and Jaime Gonzalez.
Funeral services will be held 9:00am Friday, April 29, 2022, at Reflections at Rest Haven Funeral Home-Rockwall location. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park-Rockwall, TX. A gathering of family and friends will take place from 6:00pm to 8:00pm Thursday, April 28, 2022, at the Gathering at Rest Haven Funeral Home-Rockwall location.
