Predeceased by his son Paul, and wife, Dena. Also blessed by truly great grandchildren: Oliver and Lelianna Vandenhoven.
He was a devoted servant of God. The scripture tells us that we can’t out give God. It was also hard to out give Ray.
Pops was the owner of Garland Safety Lane since 1954. He could make something out of other’s nothings. He was a mentor and father figure for many. He held to a standard of honesty and fairness that is rare in these times. Ray liked to make people smile and laugh. We’ve been left with a good name, good memories, and volumes of crazy stories.
Pops loved to help others so in lieu of flowers donations may be made to Foster’s Home for
Children in Stephenville at www.fostershome.org
