Frankie Dean (Tate) White, 99, of Rockwall, Texas, passed from this life on March 3, 2022. Frankie was born in Dallas, Texas, on November 1, 1922, to Karl Franklin Tate and Angie Lucy (Slack) Tate. Frankie was a member at the First United Methodist Church in Rockwall.
Frankie was a founding member of the Rockwall Library Society, founding member of the Women’s League, member of the Garden Club, Friday study Club and Daughters of the American Revolution.
Frankie is survived by her loving children: Barbara Ann White, John Richard White and wife Ginger, and Jim Anderson White and wife Donna; grandchildren: Bill Ray, Bryan Ray, Jeremy White and wife Erin, Micheal Ray, Jami Barnes and husband Kelcey, Chelsey White, Brigitte White and husband Mario Gaimari; great-grandchildren: Bernice Barnes, Tyler Barnes, William White, Micah Ray, Jackson Ray, Emma Ray, Harry Ray, Charlotte Ray, Nicollette Ray, Frankie Ray, Mihlee White, Marleigh White and Madelyn Gaimari; nieces and nephews: Charles and Margaret Oliver, Carol and Rick Patterson, Beth and Robert Burnside, Sharon and Dr. Joe Cannon, and Kathy and Michael Oyster. Frankie is preceded in death by her loving husband of 42 years, William Anderson White; parents: Karl and Angie Tate; and sister: John Ed Oliver and husband Red.
A funeral service for Frankie is to be held on Thursday, March 10, 2022, beginning at 11:00 AM, at First United Methodist Church of Rockwall, with Reverend Joe Pool officiating. There will be a gathering of friends and loved ones to precede the service from 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM. Burial will follow at Grove Hill Memorial Cemetery in Dallas, Texas. In lieu of flowers, donations to the National Pancreatic Cancer Foundation are appreciated.
