Alvin Harry Oexman, age 94, of Rockwall, TX, passed away on March 6, 2022. He was born March 14, 1927, in Joplin, MO, to Ernest Oexman and Leona (Young) Oexman. Alvin served his country in the US Army during WWII. He retired from US Steel after 30 years of dedicated work. Alvin enjoyed fishing, woodworking, playing dominos, and watching sports – especially football. He loved his family dearly. His presence will be deeply missed.
Alvin is survived by his son: Kelly Oexman and wife Melissa of Lindale, TX; daughter-in-law: Connie Oexman of Mountain City, TN; and grandchildren: Jordan Oexman of Rockwall, TX, and Ryan Oexman of Lindale, TX. He was preceded in death by his wife: Johnnie Oexman; son: Michael Oexman, and his parents.
Funeral Services will be held 1:00pm Friday, March 11, 2022, at Our Savior Lutheran Church, 3003 Horizon Rd, Rockwall, TX 75032, officiated by Pastor Paul Ferguson. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park. A gathering of family and friends will take place from 5:00 to 7:00pm Thursday, March 10, 2022, at The Gathering at Rest Haven Funeral Home-Rockwall Location.
