Michael Earl Murphy passed away on February 14, 2022. He was born on August 9, 1945, in Garland, Texas. After graduation, he served his country in the US Navy where he developed his love of traveling throughout our country and abroad. His happiest times were spent boating, fishing, gambling, traveling, and spending as much time as he could with his family. After residing in many different places, he came back to Texas where he spent his remaining years. He will be greatly missed by both friends and family.
Michael was preceded in death by his parents, Lester Earl Murphy and lvis Mae Murphy Creamer, and his stepfather Thomas Creamer. He leaves behind his wife Vicki Ewald Murphy, his son Matthew Earl Murphy and wife Mary Ann, his grandsons Stephen and Nathan Moore, and stepson Doug Ewald and wife Brandi along with grandson Baron.
There will be a private gathering to say our goodbyes and to share fond memories.
