Jimmy Robert West “Jim”, age 80, of Royse City, TX, passed away on February 26, 2022. He was born December 11, 1941, in Oklahoma City, OK, to Clarence Huford West and Marie Gertrude (Mason) West. Jim was a dedicated husband, father, and grandfather. He was a loving and caring man who knew God. Jim was passionate about aviation and automobiles. He was also a very successful businessman. Jim’s presence will be deeply missed.
Jim is survived by his loving wife of 47 years: Fay West; sons: Aaron West, and JD. West and wife Brandi; grandchildren: Stacie Rives and husband Brian, Steven Dwayne West, Jr. and wife Christie, Jake West, and Cole West; great-grandchildren: Kylie Rives, Jack Shires, Caden West, Parker West, and Steven D. West III ; first wife: Carolyn Ann·West; sister-in-law: Sheryl Brown and husband Walter; nephew: Kelly Brown and wife Melissa. He was preceded in death by his son: Steven Dwayne West, Sr.; stepson: Tracy Laramore; and his parents.
Funeral services will be held 2:00pm Wednesday, March 9, 2022, at Reflections at Rest Haven Funeral Home-Rockwall Location. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park. A gathering of family and friends will take place prior to the service beginning at 1 :00pm.
