Sharon Morin Starks, age 84 of Rowlett, TX, passed away January 26, 2022. She was born August 3, 1937, in Dallas to Lloyd G. and Bobbie Z. (Stevenson) Morin. With a doctorate degree in psychology, certified in Christian counseling, Sharon loved helping those going through difficulties and troubling times. She taught school for the Dallas I.S.D. for 26 years while also maintaining a successful real estate career. Sharon loved all types of music, but especially old hymns. She was devoted to her family and her many dear friends. She touched the lives of many and will be deeply missed.
Sharon is survived by her son: Randy Starks and wife Karen; daughter: Marji Clubine and husband Paul; grandchildren: Richard Clubine and wife Amy, Daniel Starks and wife Charity, Katie Highland and husband Matt, Breana and Brittany Clubine; great grandson: Daniel Alexander Starks; sister: Shirley Cockerham; niece: Jeannette Kula; nephews: Daniel Cockerham and wife Robyn, Gary Don Cockerham and wife Linda. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm Sunday, January 30, 2022, at Rest Haven Funeral Home – Rowlett Location, with a gathering of family and friends prior to the service beginning at 1:00 pm. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park in Rockwall.
