Herbert Baker Arney, age 80, of Royse City, TX, passed away on January 10, 2022. He was born March 26, 1941, in Anna, TX, to Baker Hammer and Lurlene (True) Hammer. Herbert served his country in the United States Navy. He was a tough, hardworking man. Herbert had a long career as a truck driver. He loved his family dearly. His presence will be deeply missed.
Herbert is survived by his son: Michael Arney of Royse City, TX; Step-daughter: Vicki Condor and husband John Wayne of Royse City, TX; eleven grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; and brother: Jack Hammer of Fort Worth, TX. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife: Barbara Ann Arney; son: Jeff Arney; sister: Irene Hammer; and his parents.
A celebration of Herbert’s life will be held 1:00pm Wednesday, January 19, 2022, at Reflections at Rest Haven Funeral Home-Rockwall Location.
