Arlene M. (Davis) Scott of Rockwall, TX, passed away Tuesday, January 4, 2022, at the age of 89. She was born in Baltimore City, MD, to Herbert and Genevieve (Peregoy) Davis on November 21, 1932. In 1953, Arlene graduated from Mercy Hospital School of Nursing in Baltimore, Md. She worked in various nursing roles including Nurse Manager and Health Educator while raising 6 children. She was very proud of maintaining her RN license through the age of 87. Arlene was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was known as “Grandma” to her grandchildren and “G-MaMa” to her great-grandchildren. She was very proud of her children, and extended family. Arlene was thankful to have so many blessings in her life. She was a loving friend to many and will be tremendously missed.
Arlene is survived by her children: David Scott and wife Susan, Donna Scott, Rebecca Baker, Kenneth Scott and wife Julie, Karen Cox and husband Duane, Richard H. Scott III, and wife Shelly, and Mary Scott; grandchildren: Emma Scott, Matthew Scott, Jennifer Scott and husband Steve, Christopher Scott and wife Cynthia, Logan Scott, Angela Cox and husband Kristopher Munger, Melissa Hauptli and husband Christopher, and Jeremy Cox and fiancé Rebecca; along with 5 great-grandchildren: Madeline, Luka, Jude, Charles, and Sullivan. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 65 years Richard and her parents.
