Jeanne Rene Hardin, age 84, and long-time resident of Garland, TX, passed away on November 6, 2021. She was born December 12, 1936, in Dallas, TX, to James Henry Forsyth and Ruby Mae (Hodges) Forsyth and was the second of eight children. Jeanne worked for Texas Credit Union League for 55 years as an accountant and benefits administrator before retiring in 2010. Her greatest joys in life were spending time with family, traveling, and shopping for her grandchildren. Her presence will be deeply missed.
Jeanne is survived by her daughter Cathy Jayroe and husband John; her son David Hardin; her grandchildren Crystal Yoesting, Janis Glass, Derek Maberry, Jason Hardin, Lynn Jayroe, Caitlin Jayroe and Jacob Hardin; her great-grandchildren Christopher and Crystian Clinton, Zane Smith, Hunter Yoesting, Riley, Mackenzie, Madison and Brody Maberry, Collin, Trinity and Daley Glass, Locke Jayroe, Jonathan, Noah, Gunner, Harlow, Phoebe and Jason Hardin; great-great-grandson Elijah; brothers Ronald Forsyth and Danny Forsyth; sisters Sue Hartman and Karen King and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.
Jeanne was preceded in death by her parents James and Ruby Forsyth, brothers James “Jim” Forsyth and Larry Forsyth, sister Sandra Martin, and great-grandson Colton Maberry.
A celebration of Jeanne’s life will be held 1:00pm Friday, November 19, 2021, at Reflections at Rest Haven Funeral Home-Rockwall Location.
