Patricia Ann Davisson, age 81, a long-time resident of Garland, TX, passed away on October 2, 2021. She was born July 3, 1940, in Indianapolis, IN, to William Joseph Crossen and Helen May (Pulse) Crossen. Patricia was a loving mother, grandmother, and friend to many. She attended Ben Davis High School in Indianapolis, IN. She met her husband, Nelson at the Indiana University School of Dentistry. They traveled all over the world together, living in Doha, Qatar for 17 years. Patricia enjoyed being a military wife. Nelson retired from being a military dentist at Ft. Hood, TX, in 1986, and they moved to Garland, TX. She loved trips to Salado, TX, to see the bluebonnets. Patricia was a talented cook. She was good at making something out of nothing. She loved playing piano, quilting, and spending time with her family. Her presence will be deeply missed.
Patricia is survived by her husband: Col. Nelson Davisson, D.D.S.; daughter: Lani Gilman and husband Timothy of Rockwall, TX; son: George Davisson and wife Deborah of Keller, TX; grandchildren: Brityn Jowers and husband Daniel, Alec Gilman, Paden Davisson, and Toni Noonan; cousins: Michael Yates, and John Yates who were like brothers to her; and a host of other friends and family. She was preceded in death by her parents: William and Helen Crossen.
Graveside services will be held 1:30pm Saturday, October 16, 2021, at Rest Haven Memorial Park. A gathering of friends and family will take place prior to the service from 12:00pm to 1:00pm at The Gathering at Rest Haven Funeral Home-Rockwall Location.
