Kenneth Edward Shores, age 89, and long-time resident of Rockwall, TX, passed away on October 21, 2021. He was born May 5, 1932, in Chicago, IL, to Edward and Ruth Shores. Kenneth grew up in Chicago, IL. He was a member of Lakepointe Church in Rockwall. Kenneth was a Gideon. He had a good heart and he was always willing to help those in need. He loved to write. Kenneth wrote 17 books over the course of his life. He met his wife, Susan on Christian Mingle and they married shortly after. His presence will be deeply missed.
Kenneth is survived by his loving wife of 10 years: Susan Shores; daughters: Brenda Price, Kathy Shores, and Patricia Shores; grandchildren: Kenneth Clarey and wife Audrey, and Rock Kaneski. He was preceded in death by his parents.
A Gathering for family and friends will be held from 1:00 to 3:00pm on Tuesday, October 26, 2021 at The Gathering at Rest Haven Funeral Home-Rockwall Location
