Claudia Vargas

Claudia Vargas, age 38, of Rockwall, TX, passed away on September 5, 2021. She was born June 22, 1983, in Garden City, KS, to Arturo Montanez and Melda (Andrada) Montanez. Claudia was a long-time resident of Garden City, KS, where she was crowned the Fiesta Queen in 1999. She recently located to Rockwall, TX, three years ago. Her family was everything to her. She loved to cook, shop and exercise. She was a loving mother, wife, daughter, and sister. Her presence will be deeply missed.

Claudia is survived by her loving husband: Vicente Vargas Jr; son: Vicente III; daughters: Anahysa Consepcion, and Adaly Chantel; siblings: Raquel Lopez, Maria Montanez, Arturo Montanez, Jr., and Jose Arturo Montanez; and parents: Arturo and Melda Montanez. She was preceded in death by her grandparents: Refugia and Juan Andrada, and Concepcion Armendariz and Pilar Montanez.

Funeral services will be held 1:00pm Monday, September 13, 2021, at Lakepointe Church, 701 E Interstate 30, Rockwall, TX 75087. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park. The family will hold a visitation at 905 Chelsea Court, Rockwall, TX 75032, beginning 6:00pm Thursday, September 9, and ending Sunday evening at 9:00pm.
