In a social media post Wednesday evening Rockwall Councilmember Kevin Fowler announced he will run for Mayor.
Recently, the city of Rockwall announced that an election will be held on May 1, 2021 to elect three City Councilmembers and Mayor.
The position of Mayor is set to vacated by current Mayor Jim Pruitt due to him being “termed out”.
Fowler has served on the council for six years, including two terms as Mayor Pro Tem.
“We have accomplished much but there is still work to be done,” Fowler said. “I look forward to your support and serving you as Mayor.”
