The Rockwall High School Student Council recently delivered more than 100 dog toys they created out of old t-shirts to donate to the Rockwall Animal Adoption Center. The shirts were cut into strips, braided, and then tied in a knot on each end to make a fabric bone chew toy.
Student Council members chose this project as it keeps the shirts from ending up in the trash and allows the animals at the shelter to have their own toy while there.
Rockwall High School Student Council strives to empower leaders from the student body to create change in their school and community.
