The Say Their Names Memorial will be open to the public Wednesday 10/7 thru Monday 10/12 from noon to 6:00pm daily.
It is located inside the historic chapel at Tate Farms 12992 S FM 548, Rockwall, 75032
The “Say Their Names Memorial” is a nationwide initiative to honor Black lives taken by systemic racism and racial injustice.
The aim is to initiate conversations around racism while honoring the lives taken by it.
A photo will be added of Jonathan Price, the young man killed on Saturday 10/3/20 in Wolfe City, TX.
This is NOT an anti-police memorial.
This is NOT a political memorial.
This is an anti-racism memorial.
All lives honored in this particular memorial were not in possession of any weapon when killed. Many were not killed by law enforcement.
