Rockwall woman shot, killed in Carrollton

The Carrollton Police Department is investigating the fatal shooting of a 24-year-old woman that occurred this morning around 9:00AM.

Police say she was arriving at her workplace in the 1100 block of MacArthur Drive when she was shot and killed by another person. The suspect immediately drove off and remains outstanding.

Detectives are requesting residents along MacArthur Drive between Old Denton and Dickerson to review their Ring doorbells for any possible evidence. Any activity between the hour of 8:30AM and 9:30AM would be helpful for their investigation.

Officials say the woman was from Rockwall.
