Maria “Coco” Urteaga, age 75, and long-time resident of Fort Worth, TX, passed away on August 29, 2020. She was born May 18, 1945, in Jalostotitlán, Mexico, to Jesus Gutierrez and Carlotita (Perez) Gutierrez. Maria was a member of Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church in Rockwall, TX. She was an entrepreneur. Maria was a Mary Kay Consultant. She will always be remembered for her incredible strength, unwavering faith, and tremendous love for her family. Her presence will be deeply missed by everyone who knew and loved her.
Maria is survived by her daughter: Patricia Campos and husband Rocky; son: Victor Manuel Urteaga and wife Amanda; and grandchildren: Richie Manuel Campos, Jon Carlos Campos, Noah Rocky Campos, Catarina Campos, Gabriel Rocky Campos, Victor Manuel Urteaga, and Adriana M. Urteaga. She was preceded in death by her husband: Manuel Urteaga.
A celebration of Maria’s life will be held at 11:00am on Thursday, September 3, 2020, at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church, 1305 Damascus Rd, Rockwall, TX 75087, officiated by Father Tony.
